Multichannel & best practices
Should I run LinkedIn + email outreach in the same sequence?
Last updated:
Short answer
Usually yes. Running both in one sequence lets you branch on behaviour, for example emailing people who don't accept your invitation, and stops the two channels from contacting the same person at the same time. Keep the message consistent across channels and pause both as soon as someone replies on either one.
The longer answer
Multichannel sequences interleave touches: LinkedIn connect, LinkedIn message, email follow-up, LinkedIn engagement, email nudge. If the prospect ignores LinkedIn, email can reach them; if they ignore email, LinkedIn can. LinkedCamp's Pro and Agency plans include native email outreach.
- Interleave: LinkedIn → email → LinkedIn → email
- Condition on behavior (did they accept? reply? view?)
- LinkedCamp runs multichannel natively on Pro and Agency plans
Key terms
- Multichannel sequence
